Description
Impressions, eleven short piano pieces, were composed in 2014 for Amédée Briggen, a talented pianist who likes to champion the music of our time, and for his students at the Regional Conservatoire in Nice.
This is the last in a set of three keyboard works, each comprising eleven pieces. It follows Figures (2006) for harpsichord and Meslanges (2009) for organ. Like Impressions, these two works published by La Sinfonie d’Orphée were written for and first performed by conservatoire classes.
